The Art

This is not a collection of every piece I have ever created but instead, its a collection of pieces I am proud of or that have helped me develop into a better artist.  Also, any new pieces I create that are for sale will be listed on here as well.  Please contact me if you have any questions about my art.  I sometimes do commissions, so if anyone is interested, I will be happy to do a consultation.

My latest painting of my son.  The inspiration came from a photo of him after a mud fight with my husband around Christmas.  Im getting mad shout outs on Instagram for this one so Im stoked!!!

My favorite painting thus far, and of coarse it's one I actually sold, so I know longer get to see it on my walls everyday.  "Wet"  Oil on canvas 24"x30"

"Submerged" An oil on canvas 24"x30"
This is un underwater portrait of my son.  See the post below to see my rough draft.

I kind of like this one upside down.   Oil on canvas 24"x36" For sale!!!

This is a painting of my husband.  Oil on
wood 24"48"  another one of my first oils

This is my naked thinking man.  Its pretty large, Ill have to get back on here with the exact dimensions, but it is oil on a thick canvas, and it is for sale!!!

Yes! I do pet portraits too.  This was a gift for my friend of her two babies.

My pregnancy sketches.  I would love to say I was the reference, but not this last time around.  I was NOT feeling set!!!  But they were inspired by my state at the time.  It was such meditation to be drawing while pregnant.

A couple of celebrity sketches.  This is a glass drawing of the great Willie Nelson in prep for solar prints.  I still have one or two left in a sepia color scheme.

R.I.P. ODB  A sketch I did on vacation

The halfway point and the finished product of "Touch".  I love this painting and am actually taking a brush to it off and on as it hangs on my wall  to make it even better.  30"x40"

"Floral" Oil on canvas (for sale btw)  This is one of my first "good" paintings.  They say you have to paint at least 100 paintings before you finally get a good one.  Realistically I only did about 20 before I feel that I got it.

This is a LARGE charcoal I did in college that won several awards.

Above is an acrylic commissioned piece I did for my Kung Fu master.  Yes, Im that awesome…I know Kung Fu.  And yes, it was from a real photo reference of him in the air.

These are two solar prints I made many years ago.  I first drew the image  on glass, exposed it onto a screen, then hand printed it onto paper with ink.  These were some of the better sketches I did that made me realize, "hey, I can actually still draw".  The top image is of my son underwater, which would later be inspiration for my "Submerged" painting above.
