Too early for crafting?

Is it too early to start making craft decor for my daughter's birthday at the end of summer?  Nah.  I keep envisioning this awesome pink and orange blowout and our backyard actually being landscaped, so we shall see.  In the meantime, Ive been picking up scrapbook paper and what not from Micahels or Hobby Lobby when they are 1/2 off so I can begin her bday banner.  Pretty huh?  Im NOT crafty.  Let me repeat, Not crafty…artsy, yes.  And there is a difference.  Maybe this little projects will help me.
